Obour University for Science and Technology at the Heart of “Egypt in the Colors of Knowledge”
Obour University for Science and Technology participated in the Coordination Training Camp of the National Reading Project under the slogan “Egypt in the Colors of Knowledge,” held in Ismailia from January 15 to 17, 2026, under the patronage of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and organized by the Leaders Preparation Institute.
The participation aimed to promote reading culture, raise students’ awareness, and discuss ways to activate the project within universities to maximize student benefit during the second semester.
The camp was attended by higher education leaders, including Prof. Dr. Karim Hammam, Advisor to the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research for Student Activities and Director of the Leaders Preparation Institute, and Prof. Dr. Abdo Ibrahim, Director of the National Reading Project, along with university coordinators and faculty members.
Obour University for Science and Technology was represented at the camp by Ms. Marwa Mahmoud, the General Coordinator of the National Reading Project at the university.
Obour University for Science and Technology affirms that this participation reflects its educational and societal role and its belief that reading is the foundation of human development and building creative, competitive generations.
