Admission Regulations
OUST accepts students holders of the Egyptian or foreign General Secondary Education Certificate (Thanaweya Amma) or its equivalent, in accordance with the minimum requirements set by the Council of Private and National Universities and the relevant presidential decrees, as follows:
Students aiming to enroll in the university and its faculties are accepted after fulfilling the required conditions, which include:
- Academic qualification
- Birth certificate
- Copy of national ID/passport
- University application form
- Medical examination form
- Six personal photos
- Form 2 Gend for male Egyptian students
- Any other required documents
- A personal interview or an entrance exam may be required if it is one of the admission requirements for a specific faculty, as determined by the university president.
- Students who have obtained the General Secondary Education Certificate (Thanaweya Amma) or its equivalent in previous years, or those who hold a bachelor’s or licentiate degree (or an equivalent degree from Egyptian or foreign universities or higher institutes), may be admitted to the university's faculties, subject to the internal regulations of the faculties and the guidelines set by the Council of Private and National Universities.
