Academic Degree Awarded
The University Council, upon the request of the Faculty of Pharmacy Council, grants the Bachelor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree based on the credit hour system.
Qualification for Higher Academic Degrees
The Bachelor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, based on the credit hour system, is the first professional degree in the field of pharmacy required to obtain a license to practice in all available pharmaceutical sectors. It also qualifies graduates to enroll in a master’s degree program in any of the academic departments within the faculty.
The PharmD program is conducted in English. However, certain courses may be taught in Arabic, based on the recommendation of the respective academic department and approval from both the Faculty Council and the University Council.
