Study System
The academic system follows the Credit Hours System and operates on a semester-based structure, consisting of two main semesters: Fall and Spring, each lasting 15 weeks.
- The faculty Council may approve an intensive Summer Semester lasting 7 weeks, during which the weekly contact hours for courses are doubled. Examinations are conducted after the seventh week, subject to University Council approval.
- Students may enroll in a maximum of 6 credit hours during the summer semester, following the regulations and fees set by the faculty Council and approved by the University Council. Enrollment in the summer semester is optional.
- A course will only be offered in the summer semester if at least 10 students register for it, unless an exception is granted by the faculty Council.
- Students pursuing a Bachelor's degree are classified into four academic levels based on the number of successfully completed credit hours, as follows:
- First Level: Students who have completed less than 36 credit hours.
- Second Level: Students who have successfully completed at least 36 credit hours.
- Third Level: Students who have successfully completed at least 70 credit hours.
- Fourth Level: Students who have successfully completed at least 105 credit hours.
