Over the past three months, Obour University for Science and Technology (OUST) has proudly welcomed a series of high-level sectoral committees assigned to review the internal bylaws as well as the physical and human resources across its various faculties. These visits form a cornerstone of the university’s commitment to institutional development, academic accreditation, and educational excellence.

The visiting delegations were cordially received by:

  • Prof. Abdallah El-Dahshan, Chairman of the Board of Trustees
  • Prof. Mohamed Ibrahim Youssef, Acting President of the University

and in the presence of the Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees, the University Secretary-General, the Director of the University’s Quality Assurance Center, and selected group of faculty members and academic support staff representing the respective faculties

Faculty of Computers and Artificial Intelligence

Date: February 25, 2025

The Faculty of Computers and Artificial Intelligence received a distinguished subcommittee from the Computer and Informatics Sector Committee to evaluate the internal bylaws and review the faculty’s physical and human capacities. The committee was formed to assess the three academic programs offered within the faculty and consisted of:

  • Prof. Hala Helmy Zayed – Chair
  • Prof. Abdel Meguid Amin Ali – Member
  • Prof. Karam Abdel Ghany Gouda – Member

 

Faculty of Engineering and Technology

Date: March 3, 2025

The Faculty of Engineering and Technology welcomed a committee from the Engineering Studies Sector Committee, mandated to examine the internal bylaws and assess the adequacy of the faculty’s infrastructure and academic staff. The committee was composed of:

  • Prof. Adel Mohamed Moneib El-Sabbagh – Chair
  • Prof. Mohamed Ibrahim Awad – Member
  • Prof. Hany El-Sayed Abdel Halim Saad – Member
  • Assoc. Prof. Khaled Mohamed Helal Riyad – Member

 

Faculty of Pharmacy

As part of its strategic drive toward accreditation, the Faculty of Pharmacy hosted a committee from the Pharmaceutical Studies Sector. The committee undertook a comprehensive review of the faculty’s internal bylaws, human resources, and facilities. The members of the committee included:

  • Prof. Nahla El-Sayed El-Ashmawy – Member

Faculty of Business and Entrepreneurship

The Faculty of Business and Entrepreneurship welcomed a delegation from the Business Studies Sector Committee. The committee conducted a thorough assessment of the faculty’s internal regulations and resource capabilities. The committee comprised:
